We live in a world of fake news and misinformation. This is no more apparent than when it comes to health and the pitfalls of quick google searches and self-diagnosis. Step in the NHS Knowledge Champion Network and their Better Information Programme.
Having previously worked on the award-winning branding for buzz, Manchester’s NHS Health & Wellbeing Service as well as numerous other branding exercises in the health sector, the team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust asked us to develop the branding for this new offering.
Knowledge Champions promote high quality, reliable sources of health information, health literacy awareness and help combat the spread of fake news and misinformation. They share their expertise with colleagues, communities and anyone they support.
Sunny Thinking created a vibrant identity for Knowledge Champions. Fresh, engaging and credible, their communications are designed to be authoritative whilst also straight talking and easy to understand.
As well as creating the new logo we developed brand guidelines and have produced a variety of communication materials including leaflets, information post cards, posters and promotional materials.
