We love a good hearty breakfast here @sunnythinkinghq and we love good old northern brands with a bit of heritage. That's why we are so privileged and delighted to enjoy working with Mornflake, who have been milling oats and producing cereal in the South Cheshire countryside since 1675.
Today, fifteen generations later, Mornflake are still a family owned independent business. They are passionate about providing consumers with a great-tasting, great-value breakfast and we are proud to have worked with them on a number of tasty projects over many years.
Competing in a constantly competitive cereal marketplace, we have created packaging design for their standard and premium muesli and granola ranges and continue to roll out designs on different flavour variants and sizes as Mornflake look to stand out on the shelves of the big multiple retailers. Our designs help position their products as a delicious, healthy, wholesome and affordable breakfast.
In addition to working on some of their core ranges, over the years this independent, family owned and marketing led business have always had the ability to adapt quickly to consumer trends. That's why they came up with the clever idea of Superfast Pots to tap in to the growing number of people who skip breakfast at home and have it out and about or al desko!
Sunny Thinking was commissioned to help Mornflake launch that magical new product - the first ever on the go cereal pot that doesn't need milk as you just add water! To help launch the product in to Waitrose and other retailers, we also designed their adverts that appeared in various consumer and trade magazines and media.
We have also worked on many other projects for Morning Foods, the parent company of Mornflake. One example was our work on Harvest Delight, their tertiary brand. Competing for shelf presence in discount stores, Morning Foods decided they wanted Sunny Thinking to overhaul their branding of Harvest Delight and the packaging style of their family of cereal products.
It's not just working on their consumer brands where we've supported the fantastic team at Morning Foods. We've worked on many other projects for them including internal branding at their main factory in Crewe. We've also been lucky enough to work with some of the other businesses under their umbrella including creating a new identity for Buckley Foods, their cereal manufacturing business.
When the packaging was launched it looked absolutely great. Thank you.
