A natural way to wellbeing with the Wildlife Trust

Requirement | Branding, Creative Design and Marketing |
The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside is part of the Wildlife Trusts movement, the UK’s leading conservation charity dedicated to all wildlife. They manage reserves, deliver specialist projects and have a people and wildlife team engaging people in sustainable living and conservation from the very young to the retired. We are proud to support them in protecting wildlife for the future and getting people close to nature.
With our experience in health and wellbeing marketing and our passion for wildlife and the environment, Sunny Thinking was delighted to be approached to work on two specific projects for the Trust.
Myplace is an exciting and innovative ecotherapy project delivered by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust in partnership with the Lancashire Care NHS Trust. The project empowers young people, adults and their communities to connect with local environments in order to learn new skills, build resilience and improve physical health and mental wellbeing.
From the design of the project logo and brand styling through to promotional post cards, information leaflets, banner stands and other communications, we have created a natural, warm and friendly visual identity to reflect the wonderful offering of Myplace.
Having already created the branding for the MyPlace team, Sunny Thinking was then given the task to create marketing materials to promote their Corporate Wild Wellbeing Days. Absenteeism and presenteeism are huge problems in today’s fast-paced workplace. Mental health is an integral part of how well we interact with colleagues, customers and clients, how well we perform and how we feel about our jobs. With evidence proving contact with nature reduces stress, improves self-esteem and increases resilience, the days provide the opportunity to improve the mental health of staff participants using a range of ecotherapy techniques.
We designed adverts, leaflets and roller banner stands to help raise awareness of the benefits of spending a day at Brockholes Visitor Centre. The designs highlight their wonderful facilities in the heart of a 250 acre nature reserve and the activities on offer including practical conservation work, wildlife walks, mindfulness, food growing and bushcraft.
We have worked with The Wildlife Trust on many other projects too including encouraging businesses to get involved and support them.
We are absolutely thrilled with how everything has come out and I have heard nothing but exceptionally positive feedback so a huge thank you to you and your team!
