After a long day, many of us like to unwind with a nice glass of something. But with around 1 in 3 children living with at least one parent who binge drinks, how might alcohol affect family life? Such staggering statistics drove the Public Health Development Service of Manchester Mental Health & Social Care Trust and Manchester City Council to run a family drinking awareness campaign.
Sunny Thinking built a campaign to ask parents and carers to think about their alcohol consumption and the impact it may have on children and families. The majority of us drink responsibly and within the recommended guidelines, but for some it's time to face the facts and face up to drink. Using colourful, child-like drawings we built a highly emotive campaign with posters, leaflets and a fully responsive website.
